FLAMBOROUGH - Today MPP Donna Skelly announced that the Hon. Lisa Thompson, Minister of Education, has approved a new elementary school in Flamborough. The new $16.4M Beverly Central Public School will be built in Rockton with space for 465 students.
The new school will help consolidate Dr. John Seaton PS and the current Beverly Central PS. The Ministry has worked closely with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board to ensure that this project delivers a safe and supportive learning environment for local students.
"Today’s announcement confirms that Flamborough students will have a new, modern school where they can learn and grow," said MPP Skelly. “Our Government understands the needs of rural Ontario and I am grateful for the Government’s commitment to this project and the families of Flamborough.”
